Outdoor Proposal Inspiration: Beach Hearts Proposal

Heart shaped sand with rose petals in a beautiful beach

My incredibly sweet fiancee and I have been dating for 4 and a half years. Last year when I had finished university, he took me away for a weekend to a bed and breakfast on the beachfront.

He had been planning to take me away for months and he used the excuse of wanting to take a holiday alone with me! The bed and breakfast that we stayed at was really gorgeous and had these amazing art works and statues all around. It also led directly onto the beach.

What I did not know was that he had asked the ladies at the b&b to arrange a surprise for me on the beach. That night we went out for a nice low-key supper cos he did not want to give anything away, he wore my favorite gorgeous red shirt and was very sweet the whole evening.

When we got back to the b&b, the lady came to tell us that the beach was very lovely and we should take a walk. So we got a bottle of champagne, which we had bought earlier in the day, some glasses and we headed down to the beach.

The walk to the beach was on a pathway which was lined with trees that had lights strubg on them, then when we got the beach, there was a huge heart laid out on the sand and it was composed of tea light candles in brown paper bags!!! In the middle of the heart was a low brown table and cushions on either side.

My fiancee then took me down, went onto one knee and proposed!!! Later that evening in our room, he gave a very sweet gift, he had made a cardboard Eiffel tower and wrapped it with tiny lights and it had a letter perched on top which said that he wanted to propose to me in Paris but since he couldn’t then this is a promise that he will take me there in the next two years, needless to say, I cried!!
